Welcome to the Home Page of Structural Dynamics and Identification Group

Presentation of the Group

The structural dynamics and identification group of the UR Navier deals with problems of structure and material dynamics under various aspects: tyre noise, vibration of flexible bridges, railways dynamics, nonlinear dynamics, models of hysteresis, couplings of discrete and continuous media. The approaches can be theoretical, numerical or experimental. Special attention is given on techniques for identifying key parameters describing each system. The team is composed of 4 permanent staff plus a part-time lecturer and 9 PhDs (7 of the ENPC and LCPC plus two doctoral students through exchanges with foreign universities).
