Research Interest

I specialize in the application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance techniques (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in the domains of civil engineering and material science. It comprises NMR sequence design, data processing, and the theoretical study of physical processes underlying measurements. My main interests are :

Flowing fluids

  • MRI velocimetry.
  • Structural and textural caracterization by means of MR relaxation.

Porous media

  • Theory of MR relaxation and diffusive transport.
  • MR imaging for porous systems.
  • Flow and diffusion propagator mesaurements through Pulsed Gradient Spin Echo (PGSE) techniques.

Data Processing

  • Non uniform sampling.
  • Numerical optimization of sequence parameters.
  • Laplace inversion.

  • Since 2001 : Researcher at Laboratoire Navier.
  • 1997-2001 : Ph.D at Centre de Recherches sur la Matière Divisée (CNRS - Université d’Orléans - France).
