I am interested in the modeling of various aspects of mechanical and physicochemical behavior of heterogeneous porous materials. From a fondamental aspect I use the thermodynamics of continuous media to model the constitutive behavior of porous materials. I implement these models in a numerical code that I have developed for many years. I use this code to simulate some experiments involving transfers of matter, chemistry and mechanics. These simulations serve to interpret the experiments or predict some long-term behavior.
